BRYNNE ELIZABETH GOLIGHTLY
---------------------------------------------------
BEE , TWENTY-TWO , NEW YORK CITY CITIZEN , TISSE
are you ready to take this survey?
yeah, sure.
what's your current mood?
tired. exhausted, really. i've been up since five in the morning. i had rehearsals for two different show and had to take holden to ballet and soccer.
what's your favorite color?
yellow! it always has been and always will. guess it's fitting of my personality.
what's your family like?
i have an odd family, but i love them nonetheless. i've got my mother lorraine, she's a fashion magazine editor. we don't get along all the time, but sometimes we do. my father and i were pretty close when i was little, but he passed away when i was six. his role was always "filled" by my mother's numerous husbands, but they never really did the trick. then i've got my amazing twin sister, harlow. she can be a little bit crazy, but we've always been close. she's older by four minutes and twenty-eight seconds. then of course, is my amazing daughter, holden harlow golightly. she's six years old. she'll be seven in march. she's my everything and has to be the most perfect child on the planet. couldn't ask for a better kid. then there's evelyn and lily, who i'm not actually related to, but they're harrison's family and evelyn practically raised me, while lily has always been a little sister to me. then, i've got my two dogs. gatsby the great dane and daisy the maltipoo.
what was high school like for you?
high school, hmm. well, i was a bit different from now. i had that whole queen bitch thing going on. well, for a little while anyways. harrison and i were together. i was pretty happy in high school. i only really spent two years in high school though. after my sophomore year, i dropped out because i had my daughter, and i finished up through homeschooling.
what's your life like now? everything you had hoped?
my life is alright. amazing, in most senses of the word, but i mean, it's missing some things. i'm doing what i love, i'm working on broadway, which is something i've wanted to do since i was little girl. i've got an amazing family. i'm a mother, and it's my favorite thing. really, the only thing that is missing is harrison. it's been hard since he passed away, but i suppose, with the circumstances, i'm doing the best i can and i'm as happy as i can be.
is there anyone you tell everything to?
there's a couple people. i tell my daughter, holden, most everything. obviously, there are some things we can't talk about, but for the most part she knows everything. then there's my twin sister harlow. we're not always the best of friends but we're always there when the other needs it. she knows just about everything about me. harrison, milan and ryan used to know everything about me, but things have changed and you can't really tell things to people who aren't around.
how do you feel about dating?
i've always been big on relationships. though, i've never done the whole dating around thing. harrison and i started dating when we were five years old. i mean, we broke up many times along the way, but we stayed together. married at eighteen. i'm not really sure how i feel about dating, now though. i don't really see myself getting back into the game anytime soon. it's too hard, and i don't really think it's fair to holly either.
morning person or night person?
to an extent, i'm both. while i normally don't like waking up early, i am rather chipper when i do. once i get my coffee at least. and although lately i have been going to bed early, i do normally love staying up late. just depends, really.
favorite hobbies?
acting is obviously my favorite hobby. it's also my job. i mean i love other things too, singing, swinging at the park, ice skating, walking, horseback riding. oh, and shopping.
do you remember your first kiss?
mhm. it was perfect. i was five years old, and harrison and i had been best friends since we were born. you know, our parents were best friends and all that stuff. we were at the park and we were swinging. i had just apologized for breaking all the crayons that i had borrowed from him, and then he just leaned over and kissed me.
what are you like when you're mad?
i tend to bottle things up. so, i don't really get extremely mad often, but when i do, it's awful. i tend to have little breakdowns.
do you wish you were somewhere else?
yeah. i really do. if i didn't have my job, holly didn't have her school and we didn't have family, i'd leave in a heartbeat. it's not that i don't love new york. it's just that, it's been hard. memories, stuff like that. i'd like to get away for a little, start somewhere new. eventually.
do you feel like you've changed at all?
i have changed. a lot. in the past year, past few years, hell, even the past couple months. i'm still me, essentially. i'm just a little different. i don't really know how to explain it, but i mean it's not really a bad thing.
