]Born second into the Davidson family, Lina and her older brother were one year apart. The two were always together, and alot of people thought they were twins. However, they were completely different. Lina was the quiet of the siblings. she stayed home, read and kept to herself. Her brother was popular, outgoing and had everything going for him. Although she hung around with him, the differences were noticeable. Until highschool.
That was when Lina came through and began to out shine her brother. Lina fell into the party scene. She became the big bad party girl on campus. However, she fell into a downward spiral. Becoming addicted to drugs, sex and alcohol, Lina found herself getting kicked out of her house and being forced to move to Maine with her aunt. Entering rehab, twice, Lina finally came out, showing a bit of progress she felt better to come back to New York, however, she soon found herself in love. She was in love with her brothers best friend.
The two began dating and Lina soon found herself in the party scene once more. And things just got worse, she got pregnant. Dropping everything she left, again. This time, on her own. No one knows where she went and she refuses to tell. Lina aborted the baby and moved back to New York. Now living here she is recuperating from the abortion and trying to avoid any type of party that she see's, however, she is failing.
Lina is the type of girl who will let you know if she has a problem with you. However, she wasnt always like that. Lina was the sweetest little thing that you could ever imagine, but highschool changed her. Now she is an angry, moody, emotional and addicted mess. Lina tends to hurt those who get close to her, and sometimes even hurt herself. Lina is trying to get clean but she refuses to go to rehab for a third time, she just cant do it. And as for her ex, the baby daddy, she still loves him but is trying to avoid him scared to tell him why she left.
Lina's family life was never the best. Her and her mother were the best of friends, but as soon as she was caught with drugs and arrested her mother and her relationship started to fade. Lina soon found herself hating her mother, considering she was the one who kicked her out. Her father, the quiet one of the family never really spoke much of what happened but he never really talks at all. Terrified that she hurt him, Lina tries to avoid any contact with him.
LINA'S MOTHER MIRIAM ON HER DAUGHTER,
"Lina was the sweetest. She was my pride and joy. She was the second I had, after Mason that is. Lina was my little sidekick, she kept to herself and did almost everything I did. We were the best friends, however, when she went to highschool things changed. I dont know what happened but she stated acting out, rebelling and sneaking out. It got worse when I found her high off her butt sitting on the bathroom floor, in nothing but her underwear and bra. I miss my little Lina, so I sent her to Rehab with her aunt Linda. I thought she was clean, but when she left the second ime, i have no idea what happened to her, or where she went. It strikes me odd that she just left, but I guess I cant really ask her, considering she hates me."
LINA'S AUNT LINDA ON HER NIECE,
Lina was always the pride and joy of the family. But when she came to me around her 18th birthday she needed help, and I saw that. I enrolled her in the best rehab I could find, but it wasnt good enough. Two times we tried, and finally she was let out due to progress, and that was when she went home. I lost contact with her. And now I dont even know whats going on. All I know is she left again and no one knew where she went. Now that she is back, we need to get Lina back on the right track and get her into school. She will not be the failure of the family.
LINA'S ON HER HOPES AND DREAMS,
My biggest hope would have to be to get 100 percent clean and return to school. As I grow older I realize that Im missing out on alot of things that college kids are going through. But I guess because of all my struggles with the partying and what not, I have to avoid it. I guess everything happens for a reason...right?
